We had plenty of time at the Mount Omuro attractions, and even had a unique seaside service stop in between. The fireworks were romantic, but there were a lot of people afterward. We watched the fireworks at the waterfront park, and only had 10 minutes to get back to the bus, so we were in a rush.
Transportation: There's parking on the mountain, but the road is a bit difficult to navigate, so drive carefully. Public transportation (to the entrance at the foot of the mountain) is reportedly very convenient. Admission: Very convenient; just redeem a QR code at the entrance for a discount. Architecture: The exterior is beautiful, and the interior map even has markers indicating photo spots. Exhibits: The exhibits are good, and it's not too crowded on weekdays, so you can enjoy them at your leisure. Dining: There are restaurants, cafes, and a tea room (with garden views!). Note the opening hours!
I went on a weekday Friday! The flowers and the Atami blue sea were so beautiful~ The shrine with a torii gate that acts as a mirror also had goshuin (shrine stamps) and omikuji (fortune slips). The park has lots of photo spots that you often see on social media, such as the big swing and the stairs leading to heaven (!? No, to the sky), so it can be enjoyed by both children and adults♫ Kengo Kuma's cafe "COEDA HOUSE" harmonizes with the scenery, and you can enjoy the spectacular view from inside the cafe as well! The restaurant "CODA ROSSA" at the entrance of the park was also great, as you can dine while looking at the sea~ The food at both the cafe and the restaurant was, of course, absolutely delicious. And above all, all the staff in the park were so polite and helpful, which made my time there very enjoyable!
