Previous experiences with chartered cars always required constant confirmation, and this time I was initially worried because the travel agency wasn't proactive in contacting and confirming. However, it turned out to be unnecessary. The agency was very professional; the driver contacted me a week in advance with detailed order information and itinerary details, was very familiar with the routes, and was extremely polite and courteous. The initial quote was truly all-inclusive, unlike other companies that later added toll fees, other charges, etc. Although the initial price might have been higher, it was actually excellent value for money, and considering the legal green license plate, the car might even have been cheaper. Highly recommended, I would definitely choose them again next time!
The tour guide was very enthusiastic and provided detailed explanations. The bus seats were also very large and comfortable. I was lucky enough to reach the crater, which was truly breathtaking and well worth the trip.
We booked a two-day chartered car service with driver Mr. Liu for November 26th and 27th, departing from Beppu, passing several tourist attractions, and arriving in Gion, Hakata in the evening. On the day of the trip, Mr. Liu was already waiting for us at the hotel entrance on time. He informed us of the estimated travel time for each segment and suggested the best order of events to ensure a smoother journey and allow us to arrive at each attraction on time. At the end of the trip, he also proactively helped confirm our itinerary for the next day, providing excellent service. Highly recommended!
The timing was perfect; Takachiho Gorge is definitely worth a visit. Joining a day tour is ideal for independent family trips since you don't need to drive yourself. The price was also reasonable. The Miyazaki beef and the restaurant's homemade sake at lunch are worth trying.
Team leader Kevin's humor made the trip a joyful experience for everyone.
