Product Info

After leaving Tokyo from the Shinjuku Station area, you will arrive in Yamanashi Prefecture and enjoy a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji from the Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, the famous pagoda that overlooks the symbolic silhouette of Japan's most sacred mountain. Please note that there are more than 300 steps to climb, so be sure to bring appropriate footwear as well as water and towels during the summer months.

The next stop will be at Lake Kawaguchi to stop for a while at Ōishi Park and view the beautiful Mt. Fuji emerging from the lake. Here you will also have the opportunity to buy some local souvenirs, enjoy a fresh ice cream, or just take a short walk along the lakeshore.
*In autumn leaves season, the tour will visit Maple Corridor instead of the Ōishi Park

In the afternoon we will head to the Gotemba Premium Outlets, where you will be given at least 2 hours free to shop as you wish. You will also find many restaurants and food courts where you can eat (note that meals are not included on this tour).

*As for the Mt. Fuji Sightseeing (Shibazakura Festival plan), the schedule is slightly changed as follows.
The first stop will be at Motosu-ko Resort, then we will visit Arakura Sengen Park and finally arrive at Gotemba Premium Outlets.

Purchase Notice

  • The climb up to the hill of the Arakurayama Sengen Shrine requires a certain level of fitness from the participant, as there are more than 300 steps. We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and bring water and a towel on hot summer days. If you do not feel like climbing all the way to the top, you can wait for the group at a rest area in front of the stairs or on the bus.
  • About the Shibazakura schedule: mid April to late May every year.

*Although the schedule is based on the usual flowering time, the best time to view the flowers may vary depending on weather conditions.
*The tour will take place as soon as the number of people is sufficient, regardless of the best time for flower viewing.
