The driver for this trip, Wang Huaimin, was enthusiastic and recommended local attractions and snacks, making my first trip to Fukuoka a great experience with a chartered car. He also helped me book restaurants and take photos. I will definitely use your company again if I have the chance to come to Fukuoka.
Despite the rain, we were fortunate to still see dolphins. Departing from Minamishimabara City, the captain searched for dolphins at sea, and when he spotted groups of dolphins leaping, he invited us to the deck to watch them. Although the rain was a bit uncomfortable and disheveled in our raincoats, seeing dolphins was a precious experience. It's worth mentioning that we only had seven people on our dolphin-watching trip today – our family of five and a Japanese couple – it was practically a private boat! We'd love to come back and search for dolphins again!
After purchasing online, you can redeem your ferry ticket simply by showing your voucher. The staff at the ticket window are very friendly. There are only buses to Kumamoto Port, so remember to pay attention to the time. This time, I was late for the bus, so my ferry ticket was already expired. The staff at the window were very helpful in refunding my ticket. Also, if you miss your return trip, you can still catch a regular bus. Moreover, this ferry is faster and bigger than the other one, and you won't get seasick.
This chartered car experience was fantastic. The driver was very nice and talkative, and he even discussed the itinerary with us along the way, suggesting the most convenient routes. If you're planning to visit Fukuoka, this chartered car service is a great option.
