This shared tour was great value. Besides the 9-seater Benz, the driver also acted as a tour guide, accompanying us throughout the entire trip, providing commentary, and even finding great angles to take photos for us – the photos turned out beautifully. Luckily, the weather was nice that day. We ate at a famous tin box bento box restaurant along the way and finally rode a miniature train. Because some sections of the road have many curves, it's recommended that those prone to motion sickness take motion sickness medication beforehand.
Ease of booking (KKday's usability) Pros: The procedure was easy to complete in Japanese, and the purchasing process was smooth. I was able to get a good deal at a discounted price (stating the discount rate or specific amount would be more convincing). Were there flexible options for seat selection and time changes when booking (if you used this service)? Was it easy to enter the required information, such as your passport number? Concerns (if any): Were there any issues with using the website or app? Was it time-consuming or confusing to issue or collect your voucher? 🎫 Ticket collection and redemption Pros: It was very easy to redeem your ticket at the station (did you use the counter or the automatic ticket machine?). Was it enough to just present your electronic voucher (the booking confirmation you received by email)? Was the waiting time for redemption short? Concerns (if any): It was difficult to find the redemption location, or the counter was crowded, etc. Did you experience any language barriers when redeeming your ticket (whether Japanese was available or not)? 🚅 What was good about your experience riding the Taiwan High Speed Rail? The interior of the train was clean and comfortable. The seats were spacious, so I didn't feel tired even on long journeys. The train ran on time, allowing for a smooth journey. I enjoyed the scenery from the train window, and other specific impressions. What were your concerns (if any): Inconveniences with the onboard services (Wi-Fi, food and drink, etc.). Dissatisfaction with the environment, such as the air conditioning being too strong.
The scenery at each point is absolutely amazing. Hotel stay is also good 4 stars with large room. Travel around the 3 point though is tiring due to hill road
The entrance instructions were clear and easy to understand, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the amusement area was beautiful and well worth a visit. The tour guide even helped us take lots of professional photos and edited a video for us!
The driver was kind and thorough. He took photos for us, and when it rained, he even offered us an umbrella when we got off. The bus was clean and tidy. The lunch we had along the way was delicious. It was a great experience to get to know Alishan, even if only briefly. Alishan is a bit far to visit in one day. For those who can only spare one day, this tour is well worth it.
I turned 40 and visited Alishan for the first time. I'm grateful for the arrangements made by Aiwanmei Travel Agency. The weather was great for the past two days and I'm very grateful. The forest guide was a local Alishan native and his explanations were excellent. The room at the Alishan Geda Hotel was very spacious and comfortable. I was lucky enough to see the sunrise on the second day. In the afternoon, I went to Fenqihu Old Street, which I had never been to before. The scenery on the last two-hour forest train trip was truly priceless. Finally, I would like to thank the two drivers who picked me up and dropped me off. They were very kind and professional.
I arrived in Chiayi the day before and checked the bus boarding location. I was able to get breakfast early and catch the 6am bus. The scenery was amazing first thing in the morning, and walking around the big trees was soothing, with lots of negative ions. After returning to Chiayi, I stopped by an Alishan tea cafe and met a woman who had interned in Japan. We had a great time chatting and it was an unforgettable experience.
