My 3-night, 4-day trip to Taipei was fantastic! Stable, ultra-high-speed 5G connection of 300-500Mbps. Very satisfied! While 5G slows down to around 10Mbps at the airport and hotel, Wi-Fi connection is perfectly fine. 1.5GB/day of data is more than enough for sightseeing, using maps, LINE, and web searches. It's incredibly cheap. I installed it two weeks before my trip, changed my eSIM upon landing, and connected immediately. I've used KKday's eSIM before, and while I compared other companies' eSIMs this time, considering the price and reliability, KKday is the only choice. This time, 1.5GB/day x 4 days = 394 yen, 1576 yen for 4 people. If I were to offer some advice, one thing to consider when choosing an eSIM is which local telecommunications company it uses. This time, I chose Chunghwa Telecom.

The early booking plan was great value for money, costing just over 5000 yen per person and even including the famous tea in Jiufen. Our tour guide, Kaori, was humorous, easy to talk to, and very entertaining. She made reservations for the lanterns, peanut ice cream, and chicken wings in Shifen for us, even though there were about 20 groups in our group, which allowed us to make the most of our time. The hand-drawn map of Jiufen was also very helpful as it highlighted all the key points. At the end, we were even able to get off at the night market if we asked, so it was a truly fulfilling tour!

I usually use a SIM card or pocket Wi-Fi, but this is easier and cheaper! Setting it up took a little effort, but I'm glad I used it. I chose the 1.5GB/day plan because I use maps constantly, and I'm happy that I was able to use it without worrying about data usage.

We participated in a chartered tour of Mt. Taiheizan with three people. The tour lasted about 10 hours, but it was incredibly fulfilling and enjoyable from start to finish. Our driver and guide, Man, was truly wonderful. His English was very fluent, and communication was completely stress-free. He mentioned having conducted this tour hundreds of times, and we were impressed by his thoughtful attention to detail, such as giving us detailed advice on clothing beforehand and suggesting a warm lunch (which we could heat up with hot water) because the summit gets cold. The car was a Toyota RAV4, which was spacious and comfortable even for three people. The driving was very careful even on mountain roads, and we felt safe and comfortable without any motion sickness. Being able to charge our cell phones in the car was also a great help. We enjoyed the trolley car, which utilizes the old forest railway tracks, the beautiful trails, and the Hatonosawa Onsen hot springs. Making our own hot spring eggs and boiled corn were also fun memories. On the bus, the KKday guide, who was leading another tour, took many wonderful photos for us, making us think, "I'm so glad I chose the KKday tour!" At the end, Man-san even took us to a Sanxing scallion pancake stall, which she recommended, and we got to enjoy a freshly made one. That was amazing too! This is a very worthwhile tour that offers a slightly different experience from a typical Taiwan trip, allowing you to enjoy nature, hot springs, and local cuisine all in one day. Since up to five people can ride in one bus, it's reasonably priced for families or groups. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy Taipingshan. The Palace Museum has a very rich collection. A thorough visit would take a long time. There are also many interesting souvenirs to take home. It's definitely worth a visit and offers great value for money.

Five-star recommendation! We were so lucky to have met Guo En today, who took us to Sun Moon Lake and the farm. There were so many adorable sheep and a horse show! Guo En is incredibly warm and friendly, and his driving skills are top-notch! On the way down the mountain, the fog was thick and visibility was very low, making the mountain roads quite challenging. Guo En remained calm and composed throughout, driving smoothly and safely, giving us a very comfortable and reassuring ride. Along the way, he also patiently explained the local architecture, culture, and stories, and recommended many delicious local dishes. His special recommendation of a goose meat restaurant was absolutely amazing, and we've already eaten it! He was patient, attentive, and hardworking all day, making for a fantastic tour experience. Next time I come to Taiwan, I will definitely choose Guo En again without hesitation! For anyone planning a chartered tour of Sun Moon Lake in Nantou, I highly recommend him! The misty mountain scenery was even more memorable than a sunny day. It was like visiting Sun Moon Lake, a place I learned about in elementary school textbooks. Tonight, we plan to go to the night market for some delicious food and further experience this wonderful place in Taichung.

The buy-one-get-one-free deal is a great deal! I've always used FarEasTone Telecom before, and I was able to get the new SIM card very quickly and start using it right away. I hope they offer more discounts in the future! The internet connection is very smooth!

This was my first time in Alishan, and thanks to our driver, Guo En, who was a great guide, I had a wonderful and efficient experience. He took lots of photos for us, and I highly recommend this tour! Initially, I thought I could do a day trip from Fenqihu to Alishan Forest Recreation Area using a bus ticket, but I gave up on that idea because it was difficult to get there by bus via Fenqihu, and instead used this day trip tour. It turned out to be the perfect choice! However, be sure to read the final confirmation email the day before! The meeting time was 20 minutes earlier than initially announced. Also, while the KKday wrapping is on the roadside of the vehicle, it's not visible from the passenger side and is difficult to spot. It would be good if the "KKday" sign were displayed in a more visible location. The tour consisted of three Japanese people: the two of us and one solo traveler, departing from Chiayi Station. The solo traveler communicated with the driver in English, and the driver also used translation apps and LINE to provide information about meeting places and recommendations. I used the restroom twice on the way there and 2-3 times at Alishan. Bringing toilet paper is recommended. You need to purchase an admission ticket with a shuttle bus ticket via your smartphone before arriving at the entrance gate. Lunch boxes cost around 200 yuan. To return to the parking lot, you need to purchase a shuttle bus ticket for 70 yuan on-site. Souvenirs can be purchased around Fenqihu, Shouzhen Temple, and Alishan Station. At Fenqihu, we were given samples of puffed rice snacks and donuts. The temperature inside Alishan National Forest Recreation Area was 19 degrees Celsius. I put on a jacket thinking it might be cold, but I was walking so much that I was only slightly sweaty. There was plenty of shade, and the downhill route wasn't tiring. The driver guided us through places we might have skipped on our own, which was really great.

On-time, organized, safe, clean, and very fast ! Worth every penny.
