The zoo wasn't crowded, and it was large and easy to walk around. Since it was Christmas, there were animal parades and other Christmas activities, which were very fun and interesting ❤️ Plus, there were staff members in each animal enclosure to care for and accompany the animals, making it a very comfortable and well-managed zoo.

The tea eggs and rice blood cake are delicious, and the milk tea and milk tea served on the first floor are also good. Highly recommended.

Taichung has many attractions, but they are quite far apart, and most are not directly accessible by public transportation. For travelers who don't drive, hiring a car is a great option. For this trip, we chose Liudaqu, and they arranged for driver Adem to pick us up, making our travel between attractions much easier. Adem was very talkative and knowledgeable about Taichung, and he shared information about different attractions, which we can use as a reference for our next trip. Thank you, Adem! 👍🏼

Board the bus from the Nantou Bus Gancheng bus stop. On the way there, you'll be given a numbered ticket. If the bus is full, you'll have to take the next one, so if you want to catch a bus departing at your desired time, try to get there early. I arrived 30 minutes before departure and got number 20 on my numbered ticket. On the way back, I boarded at Shuishe, but there was no numbered ticket. Bus stops are divided by identification numbers such as 6670, and you can board on a first-come, first-served basis. The number of people in line is counted, and if the bus is full, you'll be directed to the next bus, so if you have a bus you want, it's best to get there early. I used the bus on a weekday, Monday, and it was full both on the way there and back. It was my first time using it, so I was a bit confused and didn't know how to use it, but once you understand, it's a very convenient and comfortable tour.
