The exchange counter was smaller than I had imagined, so I initially missed it. Also, there were many users that day, so I had to wait in line (for a short time). Since it saves a little money, I think I will use it again.

We were picked up at the hotel at 10am and first headed to Shifen. In Shifen, we went to a lantern shop owned by an acquaintance of our driver, Lin. Our whole family wrote our wishes and experienced releasing lanterns. Lin and the shop owner took lots of photos and videos, making it a memorable experience. Next, we went to a famous spot in Keelung with colorful buildings. Before that, we were taken to the Keelung Miaokou Night Market to grab a bite to eat. The food at this market was incredibly delicious, and I'm so grateful to have been taken there. Then we went to Jiufen. We arrived around 2:30pm, and Lin showed us some recommended shops and spots in Jiufen, and we strolled around. We had a tea reservation at 5:30pm, so we were quite full and had some time to kill. It rained a little before we went into the tea shop, but it stopped soon after, so the parents enjoyed their tea, and the children were able to capture the beautiful scenery of Jiufen on camera. We were then dropped off at the hotel around 8pm. We had lots of souvenirs, we weren't too tired, and we were able to efficiently visit all the places we wanted to go, which was great. I was very grateful for all the recommendations and advice from Lin-san about places to visit in Taipei. The only thing that bothered me was the slight smell of cigarette smoke in the car. If you've been to larger aquariums like those in Okinawa or Osaka, Xpark's scale and exhibits might not be particularly impressive. However, its advantage lies in its metropolitan location, making it easily accessible without needing to plan a long trip. We entered as part of the first group at 10 AM on Saturday, and it was already quite crowded; some exhibits were a bit cramped. I don't think the ticket price is cheap, but using the KKday e-ticket was very convenient. No need to exchange for separate tickets; just scan the code to enter, and the process was very smooth.

I used it for both the outbound and return journeys, and exchanging the ticket at the counter was incredibly easy. I was surprised to find that both trains were completely full. Advance reservations are definitely necessary, and the discounts are fantastic.

Setting it up is as simple as following the instructions. Once you get used to it, there shouldn't be any problems, but you might feel anxious at first. However, it's incredibly cheap, the communication works perfectly, and I highly recommend it!!

I usually use a SIM card or pocket Wi-Fi, but this is easier and cheaper! Setting it up took a little effort, but I'm glad I used it. I chose the 1.5GB/day plan because I use maps constantly, and I'm happy that I was able to use it without worrying about data usage.

This pass is very convenient. This time, I went to Kaohsiung and chose the 2-day unlimited ride pass for the Kaohsiung MRT and trams, along with a sightseeing bus plan to Sun Moon Lake. The bullet train was quite crowded, and my husband and I couldn't reserve seats next to each other, but we were able to change it at the ticket counter on the day of travel. Even with reserved seats, you can change the time anytime if you choose unreserved seats. However, it's very crowded, so reserved seats are difficult to get. Be careful, as you must reserve the bus to Sun Moon Lake by 12:00 PM every day; you cannot reserve it on the day of travel. I didn't have a suitable time either, but as long as I had the QR code, I could board any bus. This time, I thought I could make reservations using only the KKday app, but it turned out I also had to install the Taiwan Pass app and make bullet train reservations on the High-Speed ​​Rail website, which was a bit of a hassle, but once you do it, you get used to it, and it's a great pass, so I would like to use it again.

Two women in their 20s visited. We showed them a copy of our reservation and they showed us to our table right away. There were many staff members who could speak Japanese, so we felt at ease. We were able to relax in a seat with a view of the outside. The sweets weren't too strong in flavor, so I think anyone would enjoy them. It was raining heavily and it was around 2 PM on a weekday, so it was possible to use the restaurant without a reservation and there were several menu options to choose from, but I think it's safer and easier to understand if you have a reservation. The toilets are Japanese style, but they are much cleaner than the toilets near the entrance to Jiufen, so you should use them here.

This was my first time using an eSIM, and I was glad that this product came with an extra 100MB of data for testing in Japan, which allowed me to check it before going to my destination. Since it was my first time using one, I was worried about whether it would work, but being able to test it beforehand allowed me to connect smoothly once I arrived. Also, since I entered Thailand via Taiwan during a transit, it was convenient that I could use one eSIM in both countries. The connection was smooth in both Taiwan (Taipei) and Thailand (Bangkok and Pattaya). While there are cheaper eSIMs available, I think this is a good eSIM for beginners because it allows you to practice using it.

The weather was bad, so I was able to use the unlimited bus pass, which was a great help. I visited the National Palace Museum, Jiufen, and Shifen. I was also very happy to receive a cute cup as a gift.
