This was my first time using it, and I chose to use it at Kurashiki, Okayama Castle, and Sansute. Kurashiki - After exiting Kurashiki Station, turn left towards the Kurashiki Bikan-ku (Kurashiki Bikan-ku) exit. There's an information center (the one next to APA) on your right to exchange your voucher. Okayama Castle - You can exchange it directly at the ticket counter near the entrance. They give you a free Okayama Castle sundae from Ujo Coffee – so delicious!! Remember to get a challenge ticket at the stamp station next to your ticket counter; you'll get a small gift after completing the challenge!!! (Free!!!) Sansute - A department store near Okayama Station where you can exchange for a 1500 yen voucher – it can be used in many places! We used it at GU this time!! It was very worthwhile!! The only thing I wasn't satisfied with was that it could be used for JR car rentals, saying it's limited to same-day rentals and cannot be booked in advance. I originally wanted to use it for car rentals. When I went early in the morning, there were no cars left, but I can accept that it's popular during the summer holidays. I also asked if the voucher could be used there, and they said they couldn't use it there. This comparison is a pity.
This trip involved traveling between the airport and Osaka, and between Osaka and Kanazawa. We reserved seats at the stations. JR stations have many routes, so we needed to allow plenty of time to walk to the platform. Moving between stations required good observation skills and stamina. Overall, it was like a level game, but thankfully everything went smoothly. The ticket price was definitely worth it!
The only problem was, I thought I can’t get on nozomi shinkansen, well, it’s my fault, I should’ve ask the people from the train station, but I trusted chatgpt😅 but again over all, very good
if you target for popular sightseeing spots near Okayama and Hiroshima, this is the JR Pass you must buy.
