  • You will not be able to redeem the physical JR Pass at green counters or ticket machines in stations not included in the designated exchange station

  • Eligible for non-Japanese who reside in Japan and travellers with temporary visit visa

Reminders

  • Once you exchange the e-voucher for the pass, changes (e.g., dates) or cancellations must be processed at the green counter in stations and a 10% fee will be charged

  • Free cancellations are available within 90 days from the date of issue and before the physical pass is exchanged. Please contact KKday for the refund process

  • Remember, a rail pass is strictly for the pass holder's use. When using the pass, present the passport you used to collect/purchase the pass

  • Keep the pass in a safe and secure place as it will not be reissued, even if lost or stolen

  • The conditions of use for the rail pass are determined by JR-WEST's carriage conditions and Japanese laws

  • In case of any discrepancies between the foreign language and Japanese versions of the carriage conditions, the Japanese version takes precedence

  • Each adult or child ticket holder can bring up to 2 children aged 1–5 free of charge.
