I participated for the first time. The setting, with its view of the buildings in Marunouchi, was very refreshing and pleasant. Directions to the venue were sent to me, but perhaps because I went via the subway, it was still a little confusing, so I recommend leaving with some extra time if possible.
I bought a ticket for Flight 2 to Shinjuku, and picked up my ticket and seat directly at the machine using a QR code – it was super convenient! The machine is language-switched, so I didn't have any problems using it. The train was spacious and comfortable. Although it was a bit pricey, I highly recommend it!
For this tour, we exited from Nipponbashi Station and headed to the meeting point, which was easily found using navigation; it's located above a FamilyMart. The meeting point was pleasant, offering simple drinks, restrooms, and seating areas for resting while waiting. It's recommended to arrive early to check in. Staff will lead everyone to the sightseeing bus parking area about 10 minutes before departure; the process was quite smooth. The tour includes live Japanese audio guides, while other languages are presented via pre-recorded audio files. While the information is comprehensive, the real-time interaction is slightly lacking. The route covers major landmarks such as Tokyo Station, Imperial Palace, and Tokyo Tower. Compared to walking, taking the bus allows for a more complete view of the city. Overall, the tour is relaxed, with a clear itinerary, making it particularly suitable for families or travelers who want to quickly familiarize themselves with Tokyo.
