[Meiji Jingu Gaien (Meiji Shrine Outer Garden)]

Meiji Jingu Gaien was planned to be built on the former Aoyama military training ground to perpetuate the legacy of Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken for future generations. The ginkgo tree-lined avenue, a symbol of Meiji Jingu Gaien, was planned by Dr. Yoshinobu Orishita, considered a master of modern Japanese landscape architecture, and was completed in 1923. The avenue was designed using perspective techniques so that the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery could be seen beautifully at the end of the tree-lined path.

[Mizumoto Park]

Mizumoto Park is the only park in Tokyo with a waterside landscape, built along the Kogai Pond. Until 1975, this area was designated as the Tokyo Metropolitan Edogawa Waterside Natural Park. Numerous large and small waterways, drawn from the Kogai Pond, run through the park, creating a waterside scenery. Within the park, you can find rows of poplar trees, a forest of metasequoia trees, alder trees, and other trees that thrive near water, as well as many aquatic plants such as irises, water lilies, and yellow water lilies.

[Asukayama Park]

Asukayama Park is Japan's first park, planted with cherry trees and opened to the public for recreation by the eighth shogun, Yoshimune, and has been selected as one of the New 100 Views of Tokyo. Furthermore, Asukayama is home to archaeological sites from the pre-pottery, Jomon, and Yayoi periods, and one of the largest moated settlements (villages surrounded by ditches) in eastern Japan has been discovered there.

[Ueno Park]

Ueno Park, located on a hillside commonly known as "Ueno Hill," is just a short walk from Ueno Station. Since its opening in May 1876 as Japan's first park, it has developed into a center of culture and art, and a vibrant entertainment district. Today, it is a rare area where many important facilities, such as museums, art galleries, a zoo, and art universities, are concentrated in one park.

[Kitanomaru Park]

Kitanomaru Park is integrated with the Imperial Palace forest and is a popular park where people can enjoy plants that change with the seasons, as well as a lush green space home to a diverse range of creatures, including wild birds and insects.

[Asakusa Imahan Beef Ju]

This is a classic bento box that has become synonymous with Asakusa Imahan. It's packed with Kuroge Wagyu beef simmered in their secret sauce!
