A very fulfilling day trip! We met early in Shinjuku, making the trip convenient and easy. We then took a bus to Lake Yamanaka, Mt. Fuji, to ride a swan boat. The scenery of Lake Yamanaka was absolutely beautiful. The itinerary was well-planned, with just the right amount of time spent at each stop. I was very lucky to see Mt. Fuji with its "hat" (referring to its distinctive shape), as this was the first time I'd seen the complete Mt. Fuji from so many visits. We went up to the 5th station. Remember to bring a windproof jacket! The view of Mt. Fuji from the Oishi Park direction was stunning. We also had a delicious lavender ice cream. I highly recommend this trip. Our guide, Ms. Feng, provided detailed and clear explanations. I recommend this trip for families or independent travelers to include a day trip in your itinerary.
Starting from the Tokyo Hotel, we visited the Fuji Zoo and Gotemba Premium Outlets. Mr. Haibo, who is from Shenyang and has lived in Japan for over 20 years, was very friendly and drove very smoothly. He also kept sharing wonderful things about Japanese people along the way. I will definitely book again next time. The overtime service fee is 5000 yen per hour.
