We met a top-notch guide whose explanations were lively and engaging. We learned a lot about Kinmen's artifacts while chatting and laughing. I highly recommend this free guided tour to anyone who hasn't been here before. My suggestion is that it be scheduled during the daytime; it starts at 7:30 PM and doesn't end until around 10 PM, as everyone gets very tired.
The article provides a detailed account of the 823 Artillery Battles from 1947 to 1967, highlighting the unity of the military and civilians, regardless of gender, who all fulfilled their duties. Civil defense efforts were thorough and comprehensive, demonstrating the ruthlessness of war while simultaneously protecting Taiwan.
I've always wanted to visit Kinmen Island. The day after climbing Mount Jade was the only available spot, so I chartered the trip for the day. This was the perfect decision! When I applied, I made a list of the places I wanted to visit. When I arrived excitedly at Kinmen Airport, the driver was waiting for me, having prepared a schedule that efficiently covered the places I wanted to see and taking into account the time of day. We were able to go around the entire trip according to schedule, and I'm very satisfied! Even though I don't speak Chinese, he used LINE's interpreter function to explain the tourist spots, so I was able to understand very well. Thank you to the driver for the whole day.
Mr. He explained the local customs and practices of Kinmen in a humorous, witty and fair manner, which made our one-day trip in Kinmen enjoyable.
