A truly perfect two-day trip to Tainan! Thanks to our driver, Brother Su, for leading the way; every single one of our recommended restaurants was a hit. We ate our way from the city center to the Nanxi mountain area, caught the last of the cherry blossoms in full bloom (a sight to behold in Thailand), and visited the majestic Wanfo Temple. The lemon chicken at the end was a delightful surprise. This chartered tour made for a perfect ending to our "Taste of the Ancient Capital, Zen Journey in the Mountain City"!
The tour guide was very professional, and the itinerary was perfect for exploring scenic spots. The tour bus driver was also very responsible, ensuring passengers got on and off at the closest possible points without taking long detours! The tour was also very punctual! The most special parts of the trip were Sand Island and Longpan Park, but Longpan might be more special for stargazing at night; during the day, it's all about the sea! The Pingtung Aquarium, which I visited sixteen years ago, hasn't changed much since then, so I didn't have high expectations. It might be more suitable for younger children, though it would be more novel for first-timers! Aquarium tickets cost $420 per person, but it's cheaper to buy them online through KKDAY! The tour guide also offered to help with ticket purchases! The Eluanbi Lighthouse ticket was $70, and it was my first time there, so I bought a fridge magnet with the symbol of Eluanbi on it! There's a convenience store nearby that you should check out. The owner is very hospitable! The store is filled with seashells, wind chimes, and fridge magnets—perfect souvenirs for friends! Then I chose a Chinese-speaking tour guide, but the whole bus of about 40 people were from Hong Kong and other foreign countries, and the guide spoke English the whole time. There were very few Taiwanese people! Haha 😂 I treated it as practice for my English listening skills!
After receiving the luggage, communication with the driver went smoothly, and we arrived safely.
