I've been to Osaka many times, and this time I specifically booked a day trip with KKday. The tour leader was waiting for us by the bus early in the morning! The professional commentary along the way was amazing, especially considering there were foreign guests! They talked a lot about the history of Himeji Castle, and the white castle we visited was truly magnificent! The tour leader recommended Kobe beef at Kobe Port, and there was even live piano music – a truly enjoyable experience with both music and food! Highly recommended! I took a short nap on the bus, and upon arrival at the famous Katsuo-ji Temple, we found many adorable Daruma dolls, perfect for taking photos! Be sure to get a postcard after the ride! A wonderful souvenir. A huge thank you to the professional driver and tour leader for their 10 hours of service; I'll definitely join again next time!

Joining the KKDay tour saved us a lot of travel time, while allowing just enough time to explore everything. Most importantly, our guide, Zhao Jing, provided detailed explanations of each spot and recommended local restaurants. We were so happy to have such a wonderful guide! There are tour buses available for convenient transportation, but be sure to make the most of your time there!

I recommend taking a taxi; it's convenient and inexpensive. After your trip, you can have lunch at the mall next to the station while you're shopping.

This time, the entire bus was full of Taiwanese tourists. After the minibus took us to the designated tourist spot, the tour leader gave a brief introduction and informed us of the meeting time and place, and then let everyone explore on their own. This was a great arrangement.

We were informed the day before that our original tour couldn't proceed, but they immediately arranged a new one for us without any extra fees. Our guide, Nick Lee, was an excellent driver and provided brief introductions along the way, giving us ample time to enjoy the scenery and take photos. It was really great! 👍

The tour guide was very patient and even let us off the bus along the way, saving us a lot of energy and time walking. I highly recommend My Son; it allows more time to appreciate the place at our own pace.

This Kyoto day trip was absolutely wonderful! From the solemn elegance of Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), the healing and Daruma-prayer culture of Katsuo-ji (Katsuo-ji Temple), to the beautiful natural scenery of Arashiyama, each attraction had its own unique charm. The itinerary was perfectly timed, not too rushed, and allowed ample time for sightseeing and photography. A special thank you to our guide for taking such good care of everyone throughout the trip. Not only were the explanations lively and engaging, sharing many Kyoto history, culture, and local anecdotes, but the guide also thoughtfully reminded us of meeting times, recommended good restaurants, and suggested photo spots, making the entire trip relaxing and fulfilling. This was a trip that combined culture, beautiful scenery, and relaxation, and it's definitely worth taking, whether it's your first time visiting Kyoto or a repeat visitor.
