Katsuo-ji Temple was incredibly photogenic, and we were lucky enough to have snow in Arashiyama that day. Our guide, Nick, was incredibly dedicated to every member of the group. He was fluent in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and his explanations of the various attractions were vivid and engaging. He also recommended excellent shops and acted as a friendly older brother to the children, showing them great patience. Our driver was also very kind and polite. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with this day trip. Your company should definitely give such a passionate and dedicated employee a raise! 👍

This was my first time using KKDAY to book a day tour. It was initially thought that the tour might be canceled due to insufficient participants, but I'm very grateful that it still went ahead with the tour in the end. It saved me a lot of travel time, and the tour guide was very patient in explaining things and giving appropriate recommendations. It was great!

Although I was a little panicked at first because I couldn't find a tour guide, many tour guides helped me contact one. We found someone quickly! Tour guide Cui Qiang was fantastic; he enthusiastically explained the sights and even drove around the area first, giving everyone a general idea of where we'd be visiting in Kyoto, saving us from walking. His driving was also very steady. This trip was wonderful!

The timing for this trip was perfect; we visited all the attractions we wanted to see without any worries about transportation, which was very convenient. Thank you to our guide, Apple, for the insightful introductions to the sights and restaurant recommendations, and to the driver for his warm hospitality as passengers got on and off the bus. Finally, seeing snow at Kinkaku-ji Temple was incredibly lucky, adding to our wonderful memories.

Before departure, I was worried that the group wouldn't make it and I'd have to take all sorts of transportation by myself 😱 Luckily, the group did make it, and there were 17 of us! I guess I worried too much at first 🤣 I really liked our tour guide, Hana. Unlike some tour guides who just check attendance when getting on and off the bus, she explained things to note about each attraction and its history. She even sang a song at the end 🎤 May your family come and live in Japan, take you home ❤️

I visited Katsuo-ji Temple this time. The little Daruma dolls were so cute! Unfortunately, we had to rush to make our wishes, so the rest of the photo and stamp collection was very rushed. We didn't even have time to look at the souvenirs, which was a real shame! Kiyomizu-dera Temple was beautiful, and Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka were great for exploring! The Rilakkuma bears in Arashiyama were adorable! The bamboo forest photos don't do it justice; it was absolutely gorgeous! The tour guide was fantastic; they explained everything and even told us what good food to eat. I hope to visit Katsuo-ji Temple again next time for a pilgrimage to fulfill my vows!
