The laser show at night was worth watching. It was also nice to be able to see the actual historical period through the rooms inside Nijo Castle. However, I was looking forward to seeing the cherry blossoms, but it was really disappointing to see only buds and not to see them in full bloom.
You can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Tokyo, including Shibuya Crossing and Yoyogi Park. On a clear day, you can even see Mount Fuji clearly. Going on a weekend morning is generally less crowded than peak times, although it's still quite busy. Professional photographers will take photos for you at the classic viewpoint (photos cost extra), and selfies are limited to one minute. There are many foreigners, and not all of them are polite, so please be mindful. A good day is essential. My itinerary also included a visit to Tokyo Skytree, but although it's tall, it was cloudy that day, and the view wasn't as good as Shibuya Skytree on a sunny day.
our guide was amazing, we went on multiple rides right to the front of the lines - with 2 kids aged 4 and 8 5.5hrs was the perfect amount of time. the dinner at the restaurant was great as well. if this is your one trip to Universal Studios, this is the way to do it!
