The weather is nice and the scenery is good. I took a lot of beautiful photos. It's easy to enter. There are not many people in Kanji Park, but there are more people at the art gallery. You must go to the special exhibition of the swimming pool early to buy tickets. You have to buy them in advance
This is the second time I've bought a JR pass on KKday. This time, the plan included a free Ishikawa Rakuen Pass, which was a great deal. I'll definitely buy tickets from this platform again for my future trips to Japan.
Installation was easy and reception was mostly fine, except for a slightly weaker signal in remote mountainous areas, but I was very satisfied with the price.
This time, I traveled through Komatsu, visiting Toyama, Kanazawa, Kaga Onsen, Fukui, and Tsuruga. Besides the JR lines to and from these cities, the Toyama streetcars, Kanazawa JR city buses, and the Fukui Echizen Railway were all free. This pass was incredibly convenient for traveling in the Hokuriku region! When taking the JR trains, you can only use the unreserved seating cars; reserved seats require an extra charge. Not all JR trains have unreserved seating cars; occasionally, all seats are reserved. Keep an eye out for the station's schedule display; it will indicate whether unreserved seating cars are available. Unreserved seating cars are usually in the first or second car, requiring a longer walk. If you have luggage, allow extra time. I redeemed my pass at Komatsu JR station and was fortunate to meet a very friendly station staff member who helped us operate the machine. Since we were traveling for eight days and each bought two passes, he even put the pass we were using on the fifth day in a separate sleeve to prevent confusion with the pass we needed for that day – so thoughtful!
