It was cold and snowy, but the glimpses of Lake Tazawa from the slopes were beautiful. The price, including meals, made it even more of a bargain. Since you can purchase tickets in advance, you don't need to carry a wallet or anything else with you.
The lively and adorable Masha was very affectionate towards us from the moment she saw us. She was also very energetic when we went for walks, and with the Akita winter snow scenery, every photo we took left us with wonderful memories 😍
A small ski resort with few people; the lifts don't have long queues on weekdays, making it suitable for practicing skiing. They also offer a 50% discount.
The timing of the trip was perfect. I booked a private car at the Senji Sanlam station, saw the airport, and the station even gave me a ¥1000 cash voucher that I could use on the spot to buy souvenirs.
It's been a while since I last visited. There have been many changes, and there's even a play area for small children! The second generation polar bears and seals are so appealing that you can even take photos with their eyes on them. You can see them up close, so it's very impressive!
It's convenient, fast, and the process isn't too complicated. You can pre-select a later train to reserve a seat and ensure you have a designated seat. You can also tell the station staff in advance that you can change to an earlier train to get a non-reserved seat!
