In some areas, there might be no signal. I'm not sure if this is due to poor internet connectivity in New Zealand or a problem with the eSIM itself. Activation is easy, but the method for checking usage is unusable, and I don't know why! It's a great deal when combined with KKDay's promotions.
Remember to read the instructions carefully. It's recommended to plan your travel dates carefully and install it a few days in advance in Taiwan to avoid problems when you arrive. I encountered a slight problem during installation, but it was quickly resolved via Line. My mother's device didn't connect immediately upon arrival, but it connected after a restart. I used it in Melbourne and Tasmania. Signal was mostly good in Melbourne. Only South Cross station had almost no signal (but locals nearby also had no signal). Many areas in Tasmania had no signal, and some mountainous areas even lacked phone signal. I recommend downloading offline Google Maps before you go, so you can navigate even without a signal. Having a phone number is very convenient. I joined two local wine tasting tours, and both times they sent me a text message the day before informing me of the meeting time and details for the next day. Some areas had no internet signal but I could still make phone calls. This is the only eSIM I've found that works with Telstra networks. I'm very satisfied with this experience and thank you for providing this eSIM option!
