Meet your guide in the Market Square and learn about the origins of Katowice, which are linked to the Rawa River. Cycle along Korfantego Avenue to the Silesian Insurgents Monument and then to Spodek Arena. Nearby, see the NOSPR building and the International Congress Center.

Continue along the Volleyball Alley of Stars and along Superjednostka to reach the former bathhouse. At Freedom Square, discuss the monument, and then head south. Pass the historic District Court building and visit the socialist realist Youth Palace.

See Katowice's first skyscraper and other modernist buildings from the interwar period. Your route also includes the Archcathedral of Christ the King and Silesian Parliament Square. At the Old Railway Station, see how Katowice is currently changing and along Staromiejska Street, return to the Market Square "in the rhythm of the blues."
