Product Info

The Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts is located in the Gushan District of Kaohsiung City, situated to the northeast of Shoushan. It is bordered by Zuoying District to the north, Sanmin District to the east, and the Love River flows to the south. Originally the Neiweipi Wetland, which was filled with ponds, it was renovated into the first public art museum in Southern Taiwan and has since become the most important center for art exhibitions and promotion in the region. In 2017, it was reorganized as an administrative corporation under the Kaohsiung City Professional Cultural Institution. It continues to cultivate local culture, collect works by Taiwanese artists, and foster emerging artistic talent through the annual 'Kaohsiung Awards' and 'KS Kaohsiung Experimental Field' open calls. In addition to curating thematic exhibitions and artist research exhibitions, it also frequently hosts special international art exhibitions.
