- Drift ice is a natural phenomenon and may not be visible depending on weather conditions (tides, wind direction, etc.).
- The tour will proceed regardless of whether the drift ice has reached the shore. If you cancel or change your booking even when the ice has not reached the shore, the specified cancellation fees will apply.
- We will not contact you regarding drift ice conditions before departure. Please refer to the Sea Ice Forecast issued on the Japan Meteorological Agency website.
- The operation of the drift ice sightseeing ship is not dependent on the presence of drift ice; if there is no drift ice on the route, the cruise will proceed as a sea sightseeing tour, and no refund will be provided. In the event of cancellation due to bad weather, high waves, etc., we will guide you to an alternative sightseeing spot or refund the price difference at a later date.
- The tour leader will provide information on alternatives if the drift ice sightseeing ship is canceled. Please note in advance that the facilities available for alternatives may be limited due to the itinerary, location, and season.
This product is a request booking, and it takes time to confirm your reservation. The train route may be subject to change. The train may also run in reverse depending on the direction of travel. In such cases, the orientation will differ from photos on the internet or in brochures. Even when running in reverse, the headmark will still be displayed in the direction of travel.
For changes to meals due to severe food allergies, medically required dietary restrictions, or religious reasons, a fee of 1,500 JPY per meal will be charged, plus any actual costs for the price difference.
Delays or non-participation due to public transport delays are subject to cancellation fees. The tour will depart at the stated departure time.
The drift ice cruise and the SL Fuyu-no-Shitsugen Train may be suspended due to bad weather or vehicle malfunctions. Additionally, fireworks may be canceled due to severe weather.
Arrival times may be delayed due to weather or road conditions. We are not responsible for any cancellations of flights or meals you have arranged yourself due to delays in the itinerary.

Due to the train seating configuration, guests in the same group may be seated separately, or may not be seated next to each other (e.g., front-to-back seating) even when booking for 2 people.
As this tour includes outdoor sightseeing, please prepare warm clothing (jacket, hat, gloves, earmuffs) and rain gear, and wear comfortable, non-slip shoes.
