The walk has its share of uphill climbs, but the fresh mountain air, quiet trails, and warm smiles from local people make every step feel worthwhile.

The real highlight comes before sunrise on the second day. Wake early and hike toward Poon Hill at 3,210 m, reaching the viewpoint as the sky slowly begins to change. Watch the first light touch the snow-covered peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, turning the mountains golden. It is a quiet moment that stays with you long after the trek is over.
