Begin your adventure with a drive from Pokhara to Phedi, then embark on a peaceful uphill walk to Dhampus. This traditional Gurung village is nestled among terraced rice fields and lush hillsides, offering a captivating introduction to rural Nepali life. Along the trail, enjoy wide vistas of the Annapurna Mountain range, including Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and the iconic Machapuchare (Fishtail) peak.
From Dhampus, continue through serene forest paths leading to Australian Camp. This tranquil hilltop village is famous for its stunning sunrise and sunset views. On a clear day, the sight of the sun illuminating the snow-capped peaks of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Fishtail is nothing short of magical. The peaceful atmosphere, cool mountain air, and wide-open views make Australian Camp a perfect place to relax and take in the natural surroundings.
The journey continues toward Sarangkot, a picturesque hill station known for offering one of the best viewpoints in the Pokhara region. The walk from Australian Camp to Sarangkot is filled with lush greenery, charming villages, and views of the Pokhara Valley below.
