Half-Day Mae Rim Cultural Tour (Morning / Afternoon)

08:30 AM / 13:00 PM: Private hotel pick-up from Chiang Mai city center.

08:30 AM – 09:15 AM / 13:00 PM – 13:45 PM: Depart the city and drive toward the historic district of Mae Rim (approx. 45 mins).

09:15 AM – 10:30 AM / 13:45 PM – 15:00 PM: Visit Wat Pa Dara Phirom Royal Temple. Walk through the peaceful temple grounds, admire the stunning teakwood Viharn, and see the sacred relics housed in the magnificent central pagoda. (1 hour 15 mins)

10:30 AM – 10:45 AM / 15:00 PM – 15:15 PM: Short drive to the Dara Rasami Palace area. (15 mins)

10:45 AM – 12:15 PM / 15:15 PM – 16:45 PM: Explore Dara Rasami Palace (Darabhirom Palace). Step inside the beautiful two-story colonial-style wooden palace, now a museum displaying authentic royal clothing, traditional textiles, vintage furniture, and historical photographs. (1 hour 30 mins)

12:15 PM – 13:00 PM / 16:45 PM – 17:30 PM: Depart Mae Rim and relax in your private car as you transfer safely back to your hotel in Chiang Mai city center 

Important Remarks / Exclusions

• Dress Code: Polite and respectful attire is required for visiting the royal temple and palace museum. Shoulders and knees must be covered (no sleeveless shirts, short skirts, or short shorts). Easy-to-remove shoes are recommended, as shoes must be taken off before entering the temple buildings and the palace museum.
• Lunch: Lunch is not included in this half-day program.
• Entrance Fee: Entrance fee to Dara Rasami Palace Museum is 20 THB per person (not included). Please prepare cash to pay directly at the ticket counter on-site.
