05:00: Guests will gather at the office located at 28/13 Bui Vien Street, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City to begin the CAN THO – CU CHI 1-DAY TOUR (Cai Rang Floating Market – Cu Chi Tunnels). The vehicle will take guests to Can Tho, the land of "white rice and clear water" – known as Tay Do, the capital of the Southwest region.
08:00: The vehicle will take you to Cai Rang Floating Market. You will board a boat to visit the floating market, and enjoy breakfast and fruit tasting on the river. Visiting the floating market: Cai Rang floating market is the largest floating market in the Mekong Delta. Its existence and development to this day stem from the practical needs of the local people. 10:00: Leaving the Floating Market, you will depart for the Cu Chi Tunnels. 13:00: Guests will have lunch at the restaurant.
Upon arriving at the screening room, before moving into the auditorium, guests will receive a brief introduction to the structure of the underground tunnel system through a cross-section diagram. Afterwards, guests will watch a short documentary film about the guerrilla warfare of the local people and listen to a presentation about the history and development of the Cu Chi tunnel system.
Beginning your tour and exploration of the history of this site, you will stop at the Weapons Exhibition Room. Here, you can see various types of bombs and artillery used by the American army, as well as the combat weapons that our guerrilla fighters used on the Cu Chi battlefield during that time.
After a rest, guests will continue their journey to the National Defense Sports Shooting Range. Here, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a thrilling and exciting experience with live-fire shooting.
Continuing the exploration of the Ben Dinh Tunnels, visitors will stop to visit and take souvenir photos at the highlights within the historical site, such as: the secret tunnel entrance, camouflaged spike traps, ventilation shafts disguised as termite mounds, trenches, fighting positions, and soldier's posts.
At the end of the sightseeing tour, guests will stop to rest, wash their hands using the unique handwashing system, and be treated to cassava with salt and peanuts – a dish once eaten by guerrillas that has now become a local specialty.
