Takachiho Town is famous for its myths and the Takachiho Gorge.
You can experience a completely private packraft tour in the deep reaches of Takachiho Town.
Your destination is a flowing phantom waterfall that can only be seen by packraft!
Along the way, enjoy learning about the history and daily life of Takachiho from your guide as you explore the gorge, carved by water over the eons through lava flows from Mt. Aso.
Enjoy both the outdoors and the tranquility in this remote valley that has been carefully protected by the local villagers.

Reminders

  • If the tour is cancelled due to bad weather, we will contact you at least two days in advance.

  • There are no toilets at the meeting point or along the route, so please make sure you use the restroom before coming.

  • Since you will be descending in shallow water, you will be in water up to your shins and will get splashed around.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 8 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 4 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–3 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
