- Attraction Introduction -
Noboribetsu Hell Valley
Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hell Valley) is a volcanic crater remnant, a strange valley formed by lava after a volcanic eruption. Jigokudani is not only a must-see attraction in Noboribetsu but also symbolizes the source of Noboribetsu's hot springs. It boasts over ten different types of hot springs, each with its own unique characteristics; due to its rich variety, it's often called a "department store of hot springs." The surrounding air is filled with a strong sulfurous smell, truly a scene from hell. Despite its barren landscape, the spring water flowing from it is a highly therapeutic hot spring, with a flow rate of up to 3000 liters per minute, making it Noboribetsu's largest spring source. Depending on the location, the water quality varies, reaching as many as 11 different types. People have been extracting spring water from Jigokudani for over a hundred years.
※For guests choosing Option A, you can opt for an authentic Japanese hot spring experience at the Dai-ichi Takimotokan, completely relaxing your mind and body (tickets are required on-site and include towel rental, so there's no need to bring your own); or explore every corner of Jigokudani (Hell Valley) to deeply immerse yourself in the natural wonders. Don't forget to pause for a moment at the Ōyunuma River natural foot bath and enjoy a uniquely relaxing time.
Datong Park
Odori Park, located in the heart of Sapporo, is a green corridor stretching approximately 1.5 kilometers from east to west through the city. It's not only a popular spot for locals to relax and stroll, but also a major stage for Sapporo's seasonal events. Spring offers cherry blossoms and lilacs, summer features beer gardens and blooming flowerbeds, autumn paints the park in vibrant red maple leaves, and winter hosts the world-famous Sapporo Snow Festival, attracting countless tourists. The park is dotted with fountains, sculptures, and observation decks, and surrounded by department stores and cafes, allowing visitors to easily switch between sightseeing and shopping. Whether for a short stop or a leisurely stroll, Odori Park is the ideal place to experience the charm and seasonal beauty of Sapporo.
Sapporo City Clock Tower
Built in 1878, the Sapporo Clock Tower is one of Sapporo's most iconic historical landmarks. Its pure white wooden structure with a red roof bears witness to the pioneering era of Hokkaido. Today, it's not only a popular spot for photos in the city center, but also houses an exhibition hall showcasing Sapporo's history and development. Whether day or night, the clock tower's chimes resonate throughout the city, making it a must-visit for travelers wanting to experience Sapporo's culture and history.
Hokkaido Shrine
Hokkaido Shrine is one of Sapporo's most representative shrines. The main gate faces northeast, a design choice made for both expansion and defense at the time, giving it historical significance. When you visit, consider bringing a 5-yen coin! The word "5 yen" (ごえん) sounds similar to "having a connection" (ご縁), symbolizing "wishes coming true"—a fun and meaningful gesture. Leave your wishes at the shrine and take good luck home!
Mitsui Outlet Park, Sapporo - Kita-Hiroshima
A must-visit destination for tourists in Hokkaido!

Shiroi Koibito Park
Shiroi Koibito (White Lover) is a well-known souvenir from Hokkaido. Stepping into Shiroi Koibito Park, you're enveloped in the rich aroma of chocolate. Shiroi Koibito cookies and milk ice cream bring sweet warmth to winter! The factory features elegant European-style architecture, and every hour on the hour, the entire factory comes alive like a music carnival, as if you've stepped into Hokkaido's dreamy fairytale world!
*Shiroi Koibito Park does not include admission to the factory visit.
【Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival】
Lake Shikotsu is located in the western part of Chitose City in southwestern Hokkaido, and is part of the Shikotsu-Toya National Park. With an average depth of 265 meters, its maximum depth reaches the same height as Tokyo Tower. Lake Shikotsu is the largest lake in Hokkaido. Originally a crater mountain 30,000 years ago, it filled with water over the years, becoming the second deepest lake in Japan and the northernmost non-freezing lake. In summer, it serves as a habitat for migratory birds, attracting numerous birdwatchers. The autumn foliage in October is magnificent, and the sunsets over Lake Shikotsu are also stunning – a must-see for photography enthusiasts.
The annual Ice Festival is an unmissable winter festival in Hokkaido, where water from Lake Shikotsu is sprayed with sprinklers and frozen into ice blocks of various sizes.
During the day, it shines with a natural blue known as Shikotsu Blue, while at night it is illuminated by colorful lights, creating a dreamlike world.
※Please note that the admission fee for the Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival (1000 yen per person for junior high school students and above, free for elementary school students and below) must be paid by the guests themselves.
