Product Info

The content of this product is provided by machine translation and may not reflect the actual information, please take this into consideration before booking.

Mount Fuji is a symbol of Japan and the tallest mountain in the country. It was designated a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 2013.
The Yoshida Trail is the most well-equipped hiking route with mountain huts and rest areas, making it easy to manage your pace.
At Fujikyu Unjokaku, located at the 5th station of the Fuji Subaru Line, we have separate changing rooms for men and women, which also serve as a free rest area. You can store your luggage in coin lockers (300-500 yen).
No need to worry about arranging mountain huts! (If you choose the option for the 7th or 8th station, you will be notified the day before.)
After descending the mountain, enjoy a relaxing hot spring bath at the Gotemba Onsen "Kirakubo"!

[Regarding the operation or cancellation of the tour]

  • The minimum number of participants required for the tour to operate is 15. If the tour is cancelled due to not meeting the minimum number of participants, we will notify you at least 14 days before departure.
  • All tours will proceed regardless of rain. However, in the event of severe weather, such as heavy rain from a typhoon, or if it is determined that it is not safe to operate the tour, we may contact you to cancel the tour even at the last minute. In this case, the tour fee will be refunded. However, expenses paid by the customer other than the tour fee paid to our company, such as transportation, accommodation, and rentals, are not covered by the refund.
  • Notifications will be sent via email. If we are unable to confirm your participation via email, we will contact you by phone or text message. Please note that the decision on whether or not the optional crater rim walk will be conducted will be made by the local guide or the Mt. Fuji Guidance Center based on the weather conditions on the day.
  • If roads to Mt. Fuji are closed or suspended due to the effects of a typhoon, and we determine that there is a low probability of the roads reopening or services resuming, the tour will be canceled.
  • Cancellations (changes) made by the customer due to weather, trail conditions, etc., will incur the usual cancellation (change) fees. Furthermore, even if the tour is cancelled after a cancellation (change) made by the customer, the cancellation (change) fee will not be refunded.

[About Mount Fuji climbing guides]

  • Please be aware that mountain climbing carries risks of illness, injury, damage, and loss, and that you will be going to areas far from medical facilities. Guided tours minimize these risks. Even with a guided tour, ultimately, you are responsible for your own safety during your climb.
  • You will join tours from various locations at the 5th station, where a dedicated Mount Fuji guide will provide guidance throughout your climb. The guide will accompany you from the 5th station to your respective mountain huts, and from the huts to the summit. However, when descending from the summit, you may be asked to descend independently under the guide's instructions.
  • During the climb, the guide's instructions are absolute for the safety of all participants. The guide will check your climbing equipment, and if your equipment is inadequate, you do not follow the guide's instructions, or the guide determines that you are unwell or not fit enough, you may be forced to retire or leave the group for safety reasons at the guide's discretion. In such cases, no refunds or compensation will be provided.
  • If your equipment is insufficient or inadequate, your mountain guide or local staff may advise you to rent or purchase additional equipment.

[About the Free Plan]

  • <Yoshida Trail Route> After arriving at the 5th station of Mt. Fuji, please begin your climb according to the instructions of our resident staff.
  • After arriving at the fifth station, we recommend taking a break of at least 30 minutes to allow your body to acclimatize to the altitude before starting your climb.

[About rentals]

  • Rental fees are not included in the tour price. Please rent equipment in advance if needed.

*In the unlikely event that the tour is cancelled, please contact the rental shop yourself to cancel your reservation.

[About the hiking route]

  • There are forks in the descent paths on each route (Yoshida and Fujinomiya). If you take the wrong descent path, you will be responsible for arranging and paying for a return trip or rejoining the group midway. Even if you rejoin the group midway, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to continue the tour from that point onward. Please be careful.

[Notes on climbing Fuji]

  • This climb will be conducted jointly with customers departing from other areas. Please note that if traffic conditions cause delays in the arrival of customers from other areas at the 5th station, you may have to wait before the start of the climb.
  • Both the Yoshida Trail and the Fujinomiya Trail are at altitudes exceeding 2,000 meters. During the climb, the air is thin, and there is a risk of altitude sickness. Therefore, please take extra care of your physical condition on the day of departure, avoiding sleep deprivation and hangovers.
  • There is a significant temperature difference between the lowlands and the mountaintop, and temperatures at the summit can drop below freezing even in midsummer, so please take sufficient precautions against the cold, wind, and water.
  • If you have to abandon your climb midway due to illness or other reasons, and end up staying or resting at a mountain hut other than the one you were scheduled to stay at that day, you will be responsible for the accommodation and rest fees, and no refund will be given for the tour price. Also, you will be responsible for your own descent, and a guide will not be able to accompany you.
  • Depending on the weather and the route, you may not be able to see the sunrise. Also, during peak seasons, you may not be able to reach the summit due to congestion on the hiking trails.
  • The walking times within the course are approximate and may change significantly depending on mountain conditions.
  • From the fifth station of Mt. Fuji upwards, toilets are pay-per-use (approximately 100-300 yen per use), so please have some small change ready.
  • Water is precious on Mount Fuji and all water is subject to a charge. Please factor in any water use other than drinking water and prepare accordingly.
  • When climbing Mt. Fuji, please make an effort to avoid leaving any trash behind. To do this, bring a trash bag and take your trash home with you. Do not throw cigarette butts on the hiking trails.

[About mountain huts]

  • Mountain huts used on climbing tours are different from regular accommodations (hotels, inns, etc.). They are primarily facilities for short rest and sleep.
  • The mountain huts are mixed-gender shared rooms, and during peak times, each person may be allocated less than one tatami mat in space. Bedding (pillow, futon, blanket) or sleeping bags are provided.
  • Dinner at the mountain hut will be a simple meal such as curry rice. Breakfast will be a packed lunch.
  • There are no baths, showers, or washrooms. Toilets are available for a fee. Water is very precious and cannot be used freely. Bottled water is sold at each mountain hut for a fee.
  • Some mountain huts may not have a changing area.
  • Due to poor network conditions, many locations do not accept credit card or electronic payments. Please prepare cash (approximately 5,000 to 10,000 yen).

[Bus Information]

  • For safety reasons, we do not allow infants or young children to ride the bus free of charge. Please note that even if you come to the meeting place on the day of travel, we may refuse your boarding.
  • You will be traveling to and from the same bus, so you can leave any luggage you don't need for your hike on the bus. However, please be sure to keep your valuables with you.
  • When using a bus with five seats in the last row, the middle seats are treated the same as regular seats.
  • The check-in location and boarding location may differ. In such cases, we will provide directions to the bus stop at the meeting point. Please note that even after checking in, if you are not at the boarding location, the bus will not wait for you.
  • Please note that bus schedules and arrival times are approximate and may not be accurate due to traffic conditions. We are also unable to provide taxis, accommodations, meals, or refunds for any inconvenience caused by such delays.
  • If we determine that a passenger is engaging in disruptive behavior towards other passengers (such as verbal abuse or excessive intoxication), we reserve the right to refuse boarding. No refunds will be given in such cases.
  • Bringing in or consuming strong-smelling foods such as hamburgers is not permitted inside the vehicle.
