If you happen to board a Joetsu Shinkansen that is not bound for GALA Yuzawa, you can get off at Echigo Yuzawa Station and take the free shuttle bus to GALA Yuzawa Ski Resort. In that case, please show your Shinkansen ticket to the station staff and exit the ticket gate without going through the automatic ticket gate.
If the reserved seats on the Shinkansen are full, you may be seated in an unreserved seat.
