- Attraction Introduction -

  • Xiaowulai Skywalk
Features popular tourist attractions such as the Xiaowulai Waterfall, Sky Rope Bridge, Wind-Moving Stone, and Yixing Suspension Bridge. With the opening of the Skywalk, it has attracted a large number of visitors to experience the thrill of walking in the air.
  • Daxi Old Street
Daxi is the earliest developed area in Taoyuan. Trade with mainland China flourished via small sailboats on the Dahan River and Tamsui River, creating many merchant houses and wealthy traders. During the Japanese colonial era, the Baroque architectural style became popular. On old streets like Heping Road and Zhongshan Road, each merchant house blended Baroque ornamentation with traditional Minnan decorative patterns, including Greek pediments, Roman columns, and Chinese motifs like fish and bats symbolizing good fortune, forming a unique Daxi style. Heping Old Street is well-preserved due to its later development, and the street is bustling with specialty shops.
  • Cihu Mausoleum
The Cihu Mausoleum is famous as the final resting place of the late President of the Republic of China, Chiang Kai-shek. Cihu is divided into Front and Back Cihu. The lakeside scenery is charming, with weeping willows reminiscent of the beauty of the Jiangnan region. Back then, Mr. Chiang named it Cihu because it resembled his hometown in Fenghua, Zhejiang, and out of longing for his mother. He built a residence there (a mix of Min-Zhe architectural styles) and was laid to rest there after his passing in 1975.
The two lakes in the park are connected by a stream, offering a beautiful environment surrounded by green mountains. You can see different natural beauty depending on the season!
Besides paying respects at the mausoleum, a must-see at Cihu is the honor guard changing ceremony. The honor guards, rotated among the three armed forces, perform a fancy rifle drill every hour, which is the highlight that attracts domestic and international tourists to stop, watch, and take photos.
