Shirakawa-go Gassho Village is world-famous for its unique Gassho-zukuri (thatched-roof) houses. It is listed as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO and is one of Japan's most popular tourist attractions. Gassho-zukuri is a special architectural style in which the roof is made of stacked thatches and is shaped like two palms placed together, hence the name (in Japanese). These traditional buildings exhibit excellent fire resistance and insulation, effectively withstanding heavy snowfall and harsh cold climates, and they are a part of the rich historical heritage of the Shirakawa-go region. The scenery of the Gassho-style village is like a picturesque fairy tale, nestled in the valleys, surrounded by towering mountains, truly breathtaking.

- For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 40% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
