Hanoi Vine Garden

Since being named one of the "31 Most Beautiful Places in Japan" by CNN in 2017, it has attracted tourists every year during the flower season (late April to early May).

Kawachi Fuji Garden is located in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, covering an area of ​​approximately 9,900 square meters. It was first opened to the public in 1977.

The park features 22 varieties of wisteria, mainly in purple, pink, and white. The most popular attractions are two wisteria tunnels, one about 110 meters long and the other about 80 meters long.

The greenhouse covers approximately 3,600 square meters, with the central vine tree transplanted from Hanoi village; it is said to be 130 years old.

The Hanoi Wisteria Garden is a private garden, and it is the result of more than 50 years of careful maintenance by Masao Higuchi and his family that has made it the beautiful place it is today.

Now managed by his descendants, this place has become a representative tourist attraction in Kyushu.
