• Tateyama Kurobe

Visit "Tateyama Kurobe," which straddles Japan's Toyama Prefecture and Nagano Prefecture. It is also known as the "Japanese Alps" and "The Roof of Japan." Among them, "Tateyama" is one of the few snowiest areas in the world, with a record high of 20 meters! 

Be amazed by the spectacular towering "Snow Wall (Yuki-no-Otani)" that forms at an altitude of about 2,400 meters in Tateyama every year from mid-April to May. Come to Murodo and walk into the Snow Wall, where you can't see anything except the thick white snow walls on both sides. 

Immerse in the spectacular, stunning scene! The vast snow wall appears after the snow is removed from the road with a snow pusher which takes about a month to open. Write down your wishes in the message area of the snow wall!
