Shuzenji Niji-no-Sato
Spanning 50 hectares and utilizing the natural landscape, the park features the British Village, which recreates a medieval townscape; the forest-enclosed Canadian Village; the Fairy Garden, where lovely roses bloom; and a Japanese garden filled with traditional atmosphere, featuring rhododendron forests, wisteria trellises, irises, and hydrangeas. Adjacent to a maple forest of approximately 1,000 trees is the Artisan's Village, lined with 150- to 300-year-old traditional folk houses. The park is a land of flowers and nature where you can enjoy the SL, featuring the only authentic 15-inch gauge Romney Railway in Japan. From spring to early summer, you can enjoy various flowers and trees such as the 'Rhododendron Forest' (late March to May), 'Wisteria Trellis' (early May), 'Roses' (mid-May to mid-June), 'Irises' (late May to mid-June), and 'Hydrangeas' (mid-June to mid-July). From autumn to winter, you can feel the four seasons of Shuzenji with 'Autumn Leaves' (mid-November to early December, featuring 'Maple Illumination') and 'Kanhi Cherry Blossoms' (early to mid-March).

'Maple Illumination'
Enjoy the 'Autumn Leaves' at night, which show a different side than during the day, in the maple forest of approximately 1,000 trees that utilizes the 1-hectare hillside leading to the 'Artisan's Village', and the 'Japanese Garden' with its atmospheric arbors and the Shobu-ga-ike Pond crossed by a drum bridge. The magical reflection of the autumn leaves on the Shobu-ga-ike Pond is also highly recommended. This night opening, which started in 2005, has been enjoyed by many visitors as a seasonal tradition of autumn in Shuzenji.

'Niji-no-Sato Illumi the Night 2026'
Celebrating its 5th year, the Niji-no-Sato illumination has been completely renewed as 'Niji-no-Sato Illumi the Night'.
A powerful projection mapping show has arrived at the British Village! 'Prelude of Light' invites you into a world of magical light projected onto the Western-style building.
In the 'Fairy Garden', you can experience an interactive world of light where a river of seven-colored lights flows in response to visitors.
Deep in the Sky Village, the new 'Rainbow Waterfall' has appeared. Light butterflies welcome visitors, and the seven-colored rainbow waterfall adds color to the scene.
The highly popular 'Glowing SL Romney Railway' is back again this year! The sight of it running through the 'Meteor Hill' is truly magical.
The special carriages where you can ride with your dog are also very popular. The 'Dog Stage' has expanded its dedicated photo spot area for dogs.
You can enjoy taking the best shots of your dog with the illuminations.
