Our guide, THE, was very gentle and refined, yet exuded a wonderful aura of initiative and warmth. Although it was a tour of eight people in four groups, she constantly kept an eye on everyone, relaying information, encouraging action, and demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, ensuring everyone understood the meeting time and place after free time. Her gentle way of speaking and soft smile created a warm atmosphere among the first-time visitors, making everyone feel at ease. For the climb up Marble Mountains, she quickly secured agreement to use the elevator and purchased tickets, and the playtime at the top of the mountain was just right. During the car ride to Hoi An, she spoke in easy-to-understand Japanese about Vietnamese culture and the damage from last year's floods. The meal in Hoi An was a little large, but the gentle flavors of Vietnamese cuisine meant that almost all seven women (excluding myself) finished their food. On the boat ride to Hoi An's Old Town, we enjoyed the sight of lanterns and even got to participate in a lantern floating ceremony, which everyone loved as an option!😆 The town was overflowing with tourists, but the guide was quick to warn us about pickpockets and street vendors, which helped to keep everyone alert despite their carefree mood. On the way back, everyone was silent in the car after walking around drenched in sweat, but we said our goodbyes with polite farewells. It was a truly satisfying tour.
Sasa was giving a very serious presentation, and she found it very novel to have such an experience in Vietnam for the first time!
