Meeting Ben was truly a joy. He always answered any questions quickly. After all, we were abroad, and customs and traditions might differ, so we tried to understand. Luckily, there were only five of us on the ship, so the trip went very quickly – boarding and disembarking were both simple and fast. But I was worried that Ben might not make any money! 🥲 Ben replied in a super cheerful tone: "Even if I don't make money, I still have to go on the ship. Going on the ship is about taking you all out to have fun!" 😎 He's so cool! We spent eight days in Palau, trying all sorts of restaurants, side dishes, BBQ, and instant noodles, and we discovered that the best food was Ben's cooking! It was so delicious! I immediately told everyone to go eat. There were at least three really good dishes, which was amazing, considering how rare the food is in Palau. We could ask Ben about Palau's history – colonies, architecture, etc. He knew everything, like an encyclopedia! He even recommended the Palau Grand Hotel for some unique souvenirs at reasonable prices. He also recommended restaurants we hadn't tried yet (we were really tired of the food after eight days). Ben is truly a master of all trades; besides making our trip fun, he could also teach us about marine life and answer any questions we had about land. Having been to so many countries, I'm amazed by how knowledgeable Ben is, yet so humble and unassuming. He's always been so helpful and never boasts. Although I probably won't be going back to Palau anytime soon, I hope Ben is happy every day, and that his guests are just as happy.
