Thank you to our tour guide Jyo Xu and our driver for making our day wonderful! Jyo Xu always has a sweet smile, her explanations were very detailed and vivid, and she was always happy to help and share. Plus, the weather was fantastic, allowing us to take many beautiful photos and create wonderful memories.
The seafood sashimi at Karato Market was so fresh! It was so pleasant to eat outdoors 😌 Motonosumi Shrine ⛩️ was beautiful, but it was super windy by the sea, so be sure to dress warmly 😅 The night view of Sarakurayama was a real shame – the sunset wasn't until after 6 pm 🌄 our itinerary didn't allow us to stay that late, and the cable car 🚡 only operated until around 7 pm... The whole trip was a long journey, and I basically slept the whole time on the bus 🤣 But for places with inconvenient transportation, KKDay is the most cost-effective option that doesn't require worrying about transportation!
Our tour guide, Mr. Su, explained everything very carefully, and I had a great time. It was my first time taking a boat to Karato Market, which I found very interesting, and the food was delicious. Okura Castle and Miyaji Shrine were great for taking photos; I could take so many pictures that my hands would get tired. I loved it and was extremely satisfied with this day trip.
To catch the bus, go from Kokura Station towards Aruaru City and follow the ferry bus signs. You can see the stars at night if you go outside on the 7th floor. Your room key is provided via QR code, and the dormitory rooms simply open. There is a 100 yen fee for using a locker to store valuables (based on the cheapest one). The shower room is open 24 hours until you arrive at the port, and I remember that the hot spring has a limited time. The cat character is cute.
