Good points: - It was very refreshing to spend several hours cycling around the island while gazing at the blue sky and blue sea. - The ups and downs are quite challenging without an electric bike, but it's more enjoyable with a regular bike. - I had a great time cycling while listening to music on a Bluetooth speaker. - The quokkas I encountered while cycling gave a strong sense of living in nature, which was interesting. (The quokkas around the cafes and restaurants near the harbor seemed more like pets.) - There are many beautiful beaches of all sizes, which can be enjoyed, including swimming. - Renting a bicycle at the ferry disembarkation point on Rottnest Island and returning it before boarding the return ferry was hassle-free and convenient. - Areas for improvement: - It would be good to have information about the entrance fee to Rottnest Island. Other sites say it's included or not. I inquired but received no reply. - I think it would be good to have advice on how to get around the island. Since it was my first time, I stopped at various forks in the road and used Google Maps to decide where to go.
