You can choose the same wood as your partner to make a matching pair, or each choose your favorite color or grain. Shape and refine (plane/sandpaper)
Use a plane to gradually carve the chosen wood into the shape of chopsticks. This is a popular step where you can enjoy the comfort of carving wood and the feeling of seeing the shape change. Since the finish changes depending on how you apply force and the angle, you can feel the joy of making it with your own hands. Even beginners can rest assured as staff will support you. After shaping, use sandpaper to smooth the surface. By polishing carefully, you will finish with chopsticks that are easy to use and fit well in your hand.
Finishing (name engraving/oiling)
If you wish, you can add your name or your favorite text or numbers as an option. It is recommended for commemorations and souvenirs as a one-of-a-kind item. Finally, applying oil will bring out the texture of the wood and make the chopsticks easier to use. You can take your carefully finished chopsticks home with you.
