The Ultimate Taiwan Mazu Culture Exhibition

Starting from the Sea, Walking Into the World of Mazu Along the Incense Trail

From Lin Moniang in Meizhou to the Mazu familiar to Taiwanese people; from temples filled with incense to lively street processions and pilgrimages, the Mazu faith has spanned a millennium and deeply integrated into the lives of Taiwanese people.

The Ultimate Taiwan Mazu Culture Exhibition centers on the Mazu culture of Beigang Chaotian Temple. Starting from the origins of the faith, learn about Beigang's century-old incense traditions, pilgrimages, and processions. Explore palanquins, deity statues, and traditional crafts, all combined with interactive experiences and immersive visuals to help visitors understand Mazu from different perspectives.

Mazu holds a profound place in the hearts of Taiwanese people. The faith has long been integrated into daily life, connecting temples, craftsmanship, local communities, human connections, and charity to form a unique cultural landscape in Taiwan. From the troupes and rituals of a procession to every detail on a palanquin; from the legends people tell to the incense that has continued for centuries, the exhibition shows you a side of Mazu culture different from what you see in daily life.

A legend, a temple, a procession, a palanquin—all connecting people's wishes for peace, family, and travel.

Starting from Meizhou, walking into Beigang, and following the incense trail into the world. Step into the exhibition to learn about Mazu and rediscover the faith familiar to Taiwanese people.
