- Vehicle type: Assigned based on the number of participants. For small groups, a driver who also acts as a tour assistant will provide service throughout the tour; no separate tour leader will be assigned. You will be free to explore the attractions on your own upon arrival.
- For walking on snow, we recommend bringing your own crampons. Please do not wear crampons inside the vehicle; put them on after getting off to avoid damaging the vehicle floor.
Take the Kitayatsugadake Ropeway to travel from the Sanroku Station at 1,771 meters to the summit station at 2,237 meters in about 7 minutes, enjoying a panoramic view of the Kitayatsugadake mountain range along the way.
In winter, the mountains are covered in snow. When weather conditions are favorable, you may have the chance to see the 'rime ice' phenomenon where frost clings to the trees, creating a dreamy silver world!
Suwa Taisha Shrine is one of Japan's oldest shrines. Its rustic shrine buildings are complemented by towering ancient trees, with massive 'Onbashira' pillars standing around the grounds as a symbolic sight. Stroll through the area to feel the serene and solemn atmosphere while learning about the traditional beliefs and culture deeply rooted in the Suwa region.
