【Okinawa Whale Shark Snorkeling & Diving | Chinese, English & Japanese Service・Free Photos & Videos】

Choose between snorkeling, a trial diving experience, or fun diving based on your experience level, and admire the graceful movements and unique patterns of whale sharks from the surface or underwater.

The activity is available in Chinese, English, and Japanese. All three packages include free photography, with photos and videos provided at no extra cost to capture your amazing encounter with the whale sharks, allowing you to take home memories of your Okinawa ocean adventure.

【How to Observe Whale Sharks】

The whale sharks are kept within a sea enclosure. All packages involve observing them from outside the net; there is no entry into the enclosure. Snorkelers observe from the surface, while trial divers and certified divers observe from underwater. Please follow the instructor's directions at all times.

【Package 1: Whale Shark Snorkeling】

・Age requirement: 6–65 years old.

・No diving certification required; beginners and non-swimmers are welcome.

・Includes necessary snorkeling gear and full supervision by an instructor to observe whale sharks from the surface.

【Package 2: Whale Shark Trial Diving】

・Age requirement: 10–60 years old.

・No scuba certification required; suitable for those who want to try scuba diving.

・Led by an instructor, using scuba equipment to admire whale sharks from underwater.

・Please be sure to check the health declaration and participation requirements before booking.

【Package 3: Whale Shark Fun Diving (Certified Divers)】

・Age requirement: 10–65 years old.

・Must hold a scuba diving certification.

・Your most recent dive must have been within six months prior to the activity date.

・Please provide your certification agency, license number, and the date of your last dive when booking.

・If your last dive was more than six months ago, please contact customer service in advance to arrange a refresher dive (additional fees apply), or switch to a trial diving package that meets your age and health requirements.

【Meeting Point and Activity Time】

・Snorkeling and Fun Diving: Please arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled activity time.

・Trial Diving: Please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled activity time.

・The duration from meeting to dismissal is approximately 1.5–2 hours, with about 30 minutes of actual time in the water.

・Actual arrangements may be adjusted based on sea conditions and the progress of the activity on the day.

・Free parking is available at the meeting point.

・No pick-up service is provided; please make your own way to the meeting point.

【Inclusions】

・The selected activity experience.

・Necessary snorkeling or scuba equipment for the activity; excluding dive computers for the Fun Diving package.

・Boat fees, instructor fees, and insurance.

・Free photography service and activity photos/videos.

・Use of shower facilities.

Shower facilities do not provide hair dryers or toiletries; please bring your own as needed.

【Optional Costs】

・Dive computers for the Fun Diving package can be rented for 1,000 JPY each; rental is optional.

・Refresher dives arranged separately require an additional fee; please contact customer service in advance to confirm.

・Purchasing drinks and using lockers are personal expenses; it is recommended to carry a small amount of Japanese Yen in cash.

There are no mandatory on-site fees other than optional rentals, additional services, and personal expenses.

【Delivery of Free Photos and Videos】

All three packages include free photography service. Photos and videos are generally delivered on-site after the activity concludes.

・Apple devices: Can be received via AirDrop.

・Other phones: It is recommended to download the DJI Mimo app in advance to download files from the instructor's camera to your phone on-site.

・If the download cannot be completed on-site, the instructor can send them later that day via a messaging app agreed upon by both parties.

Actual photo content and quality may vary depending on sea conditions, visibility, and activity circumstances.

【Participation Requirements and Equipment Needs】

・The weight limit for participants in all packages is 120 kg.

・Minor participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

・If you require a prescription mask, please contact customer service in advance to inform them of your prescription. Availability is limited, and we cannot guarantee that a mask meeting your needs will be provided.

・Please specify your preferred service language when booking: Chinese, English, or Japanese.

【Scuba Diving Health Declaration | Must Check Before Booking】

All participants for trial diving and Fun Diving, regardless of age, must read the following health questionnaire in advance to confirm if they meet the participation requirements:

Please confirm your health status truthfully. If the questionnaire indicates that a physician's evaluation is required, please complete the necessary assessment before participating and contact customer service in advance to confirm the required documentation.

If it is discovered on-site that your health condition does not meet the participation standards, or if you have not completed the required physician's evaluation, you will be refused participation and no refund will be given. If you have any questions, please contact customer service before booking.

【Flight Restrictions After Scuba Diving】

This activity includes one scuba dive. Participants in trial diving or Fun Diving must not fly within 12 hours after diving, and must not fly on the day of the activity. Even if your flight is scheduled for the next day, you must ensure at least 12 hours have passed.

【Cancellations Due to Weather and Sea Conditions】

If the activity is cancelled by the operator due to weather or sea conditions, we will do our best to assist in rescheduling. If your itinerary cannot accommodate a reschedule, we will assist with a full refund.

【Handling of Inability to Participate】

Please confirm your age, weight, health status, certification qualifications, date of last dive, and flight arrangements before booking. No refunds will be provided if you are unable to participate due to personal reasons or failure to meet the announced participation requirements.

In the event that the activity is cancelled by the operator due to weather or sea conditions, the rescheduling and refund arrangements mentioned above will apply.
