What You Can Expect
Purchase Notice
- Once ordered, dates, number of passengers, ticket types, or room types cannot be changed. Please confirm all details, including passenger numbers and ticket specifications, before placing your order. Thank you for your understanding.
- THSR seats are assigned automatically by the system; we cannot guarantee consecutive seats, nor can we specify seats or carriages. If you require consecutive seats, please note this in the remarks section, though final seat assignment is subject to the system.
- To change train times, please contact KKday customer service at least 8 days before departure. Only one change is permitted; no changes will be accepted within 7 days of departure.
- THSR tickets are available for booking 29 days in advance. Orders can be placed 29 days prior, but seat availability is not guaranteed.
- Since THSR tickets can only be booked within a 29-day window (including the travel date), if the 29th day falls on a Friday or Saturday, tickets can be booked up to the following Sunday. If your requested date exceeds the booking window, our order processing team will prioritize booking your requested train once the window opens, subject to actual seat availability.
- Due to regional and supplier differences, please submit any special requests at the time of order. We will forward these to the supplier, but fulfillment depends on the supplier's tour status. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- The definition of a child varies by itinerary; any on-site surcharges are subject to the service provider's regulations.
- 'Child without bed' options include only insurance and administrative fees. If a THSR ticket is required, please select it when choosing the number of tickets. Any other incidental expenses must be settled on-site.
- Child without bed: The child does not occupy a separate bed. If two children are sharing one bed, please select 1 child + 1 child without bed. A maximum of 2 children without beds are allowed (please refer to specific product definitions for any additional restrictions). Children without beds do not include hotel meals, facility usage, or amenities.
- Placing an order for a package does not mean the booking is complete. You must wait for the order processing team to confirm and issue a voucher to signify a successful booking. Please do not place an order if you have any concerns.
Reminders
Before booking this product, please read the booking instructions and related terms carefully. If the person making the booking is not the traveler, they act as an agent and are obligated to fully inform the traveler of all itinerary details, booking instructions, and restrictions. Upon clicking 'Agree', these terms become legally binding for the traveler; we do not accept claims of ignorance or lack of understanding as a defense.
This package requires a minimum of 20 participants. THSR reserves the right to cancel the tour if the minimum number of participants is not met.
The tour leader may adjust the order of the itinerary based on the number of participants, local festivals, weather conditions, etc.
If you purchased a 'Concession/Senior Ticket', please ensure you carry valid identification on the day of departure for inspection by THSR staff. If you fail to present valid ID or if there are discrepancies, THSR reserves the right to refuse boarding. You will be required to purchase a new ticket, and the original THSR Holiday ticket will not be eligible for refund.
Nangang, Taipei, and Banqiao stations cannot be used as both the departure and arrival stations for any combination (e.g., if the arrival station is Taipei, Nangang and Banqiao stations cannot be used as the departure station).
The price includes one round-trip standard reserved seat ticket. The travel date must coincide with the hotel check-in or tour departure date. A single order must use the same departure and destination stations and the same train times. If you require a delayed return, please arrange your own hotel transfer. This is a round-trip ticket package; one-way refunds are not permitted.
THSR tickets in this package are discounted, valid only for the specified date and train, and are non-transferable. They will not be reissued if lost, so please keep them safe. Tickets that are altered, defaced, illegible, or photocopied are invalid.
If the itinerary includes accommodation, check-in and check-out times are subject to hotel regulations. Promotional rates for accommodation packages are subject to limited availability; actual available room types depend on sales status and cannot be changed.
For departures 29 days or more in advance, please specify 2-3 preferred THSR train times for both outbound and return journeys in the 'Order Remarks'. The actual assigned train times will be confirmed by our customer service team.

- Please use your physical ticket or mobile e-ticket to enter the THSR station.
- THSR reservations are only available for dates within 29 days of the departure date. If your travel date is not within 29 days, we will book your tickets and send them out once the booking window opens.
- All passengers in the same booking must board and alight at the same stations; it is not possible to board or alight at different stations.
- THSR Holiday tickets are special project tickets with specific boarding and alighting station requirements. For example, if you choose to depart from Taipei Station and stay at a hotel in Kaohsiung, your outbound ticket will be from Taipei to Zuoying, and your return ticket will be from Zuoying to Taipei. No refunds will be provided for getting off at intermediate stations, and any travel beyond the designated stations will require payment of the fare difference according to official THSR announcements.
- THSR Holiday tickets are discounted tickets and are only valid for the specific train scheduled for that day.
- THSR Holiday Cancellation Notes -
- According to THSR Holiday ticket regulations, no single leg of the journey can be refunded.
- All ticket refunds must be processed through KKday. THSR station ticket counters cannot process refunds or exchanges.
- Note: Per THSR Holiday ticket regulations, if multiple people are booked under the same order, any refunds or exchanges must be processed for the entire group. Individual refunds or exchanges are not permitted, and a processing fee for the entire group will be charged. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- THSR Holiday Cancellation Policy -
- Please contact KKday customer service first if you need to cancel your order.
- Due to administrative processing times, the cancellation policy will be based on the text below. Cancellation requests are only accepted daily between 08:30 and 16:00. Requests submitted after hours will be considered as having been submitted on the following day.
- If the THSR tickets have already been issued, an additional cancellation fee of NTD 20 per ticket will be charged (a round-trip ticket counts as 2 tickets).
- Cancellations made 8 days or more before the departure date (excluding the departure date) are free of charge. For changes or cancellations notified 4 to 7 days before the departure date (excluding the departure date), a 30% cancellation fee of the total cost will be charged.
- For changes or cancellations notified within 3 days before the departure date (excluding the departure date), a 70% cancellation fee of the total cost will be charged.
- For changes or cancellations notified on the departure date, a 100% cancellation fee of the total cost will be charged.
- (Example: For a departure on 12/8, changes or cancellations made by 11/30 are free of charge; changes or cancellations made between 12/1 and 12/4 will incur a 30% fee; changes or cancellations made between 12/5 and 12/7 will incur a 70% fee.)

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 9 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–8 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
