Children aged 0-2 who do not occupy a seat are free of charge, but we do not recommend bringing them for safety reasons. If you do bring them, you must inform us at the time of booking; if you do not make a note in advance and there are no remaining seats on the day, the driver has the right to refuse boarding based on safety regulations. If children under 2 need a seat, please purchase a full-price ticket and specify this. The ticket price for children aged 3 and older is the same as for adults.
Penguin Walk start time: The event is scheduled to run from late December to early March. The specific start date depends on actual snow conditions on-site. If there is insufficient snow, it may be postponed or suspended; thank you for your understanding. The Penguin Walk is only held during periods with snow cover, so it will not be available before snow has formed or after it has melted.
If any section of the road is closed before entering the expressway on the outbound or return trip, the itinerary will be diverted to national or prefectural roads (Hokkaido roads), and rest stops may be changed to roadside stations (Michi-no-Eki) or similar locations. Additionally, depending on the arrival time, the time spent at Asahiyama Zoo may be significantly reduced, or in the worst-case scenario, a visit may not be possible. If a visit is ultimately not possible, we will refund the admission fee; please be aware of this in advance.
Please be advised that due to winter road conditions and uncontrollable traffic factors, travel times may be delayed, and occasionally it may not be possible to arrive on time to participate in the Penguin Walk. Thank you for your understanding and tolerance regarding these force majeure factors.
Due to weather conditions or on-site crowds, the time spent at each attraction may be reduced, and in rare cases, some attractions may have to be cancelled. Additionally, to ensure a smoother itinerary, the order of visits for different bus departures may be adjusted flexibly based on on-site conditions; thank you for your understanding.
This day tour is a fixed-route shared group tour. All passengers must comply with the time allotted at each stop as arranged by the tour guide or driver. To protect the rights of all passengers, latecomers will be waited for a maximum of 5 minutes, after which the tour will depart. Those who fail to board on time must arrange their own transportation to the next stop to rejoin the group.
If you need to bring large luggage, please be sure to register with customer service in advance when booking. During the tour, please keep your passport, cash, and valuables with you at all times. The company is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage. Only well-packaged light snacks or sealed drinks with lids are allowed on the bus; if the interior of the vehicle is soiled, passengers will be required to pay compensation according to local Japanese vehicle cleaning standards.
