Xiamen Old Courtyard Scenic Area is a national 4A-level scenic spot, a cultural tourism masterpiece created by Huaxia Cultural Tourism Group with an investment of 1.3 billion yuan. It comprises five parts: the Old Courtyard Folk Culture Park, the live-action performances "Legend of Southern Fujian" and "Naval Battle," Penguin Dreamland, the Hi-Fun Non-Powered Family Town, and the Xiamen Old Courtyard Scenic Area Sky City Observation Tower. The live-action performance "Naval Battle" is based on true historical stories, vividly recounting the tale of Zheng Zhilong and his son Zheng Chenggong fighting against the Japanese invaders. The "Legend of Southern Fujian" show incorporates the local customs and traditions of Southern Fujian, offering a six-act performance showcasing the unique characteristics of the region, including the birth of Xiamen Island, the inspiring spirit of Zheng's army, the sorrow of parting from Nanyang, and the joy of wedding customs. Penguin Dreamland is a great weekend getaway for parents and children, and also the place in Xiamen where you can see real Antarctic penguins. The Hi-Fun Non-Powered Family Town offers a variety of free entertainment projects, ranging from thrilling and exciting to romantic and dreamy. The Sky City Observation Tower at Xiamen Old Courtyard Scenic Area is a newly opened popular attraction in 2022, designed to attract thrill-seekers to experience the glass water slide and high-altitude swing from a 50-meter-high platform. The scenic area also features various snack shops and restaurants, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable travel environment for visitors.

The schedules for some interactive games, NPC parades, and indoor exhibition hall performances within the scenic area are flexible. Please pay attention to the announcements or guide maps within the scenic area.
In case of severe weather, equipment maintenance, or force majeure, some outdoor performances may be temporarily cancelled. Please cooperate with the park staff.
The "Sky City Observation Tower" project in the Old Courtyard Scenic Area of Xiamen covers a total area of 650 square meters and is about 50 meters high. It includes a variety of aerial amusement facilities such as a glass water slide, a cloud swing, and a sky mirror. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the scenic area through the sky mirror on the observation tower, experience the thrill of riding the Xiamen swing, and plunge down from a height of 50 meters with the water flow, taking in the beautiful scenery of the entire scenic area.
HiFantian Non-Powered Family Town is a newly built outdoor amusement ecosystem in the old courtyard. Here, children can play on popular attractions such as rainbow slides, bumper cars, and water parks, as well as experience non-powered family activities such as skywalk suspension bridges, jungle adventures, tightrope walking, windmill slides, and ladybug playgrounds. They can challenge their limits and develop their balance, cooperation, and problem-solving skills. HiFantian Non-Powered Family Town, loved by children, is known as a "perfect place for taking kids" by many tourists.

The "Legend of Southern Fujian" show, a live-action performance that seems to move, is planned, written, and directed by Xia Chunting, Chairman of Huaxia Cultural Tourism Group. In creating "Legend of Southern Fujian," the essence of Southern Fujian culture is integrated into a grand tapestry of myths, legends, folk customs, and historical figures, creating a moving, suspenseful, and culturally rich experience. The entire performance is divided into six acts: "The Creation of Egret Island," "Battle of the Island City," "Adventures in Southeast Asia," "Fishing Village Life," "Descendants of the Dragon," and "Blessing China." With the aim of being "visually appealing, auditoryly engaging, and entertaining," it is a performance that is accessible to all, enjoyable for all, and sure to delight the audience. Sitting in the "moving" stands, the audience is transported to different parts of the theater as the story unfolds, embodying the essence of Southern Fujian culture. At times, they are immersed in a battlefield, and at other times, in a dreamlike landscape. The regular performances utilize as many as 47 inventions, and feature super cultural and entertainment experiences such as a 10-story high-altitude dive that exceeds human limits, thrilling jet ski racing, a magnificent 2,000-ton drop of water from the sky, a 17-meter-long dragon rising from the water, and a 19-meter-tall Mazu statue taking to the stage, bringing the audience a suspenseful, shocking, exciting, and joyful experience.
