Product Info

  • The Jozankei area is Sapporo's inner sanctum. Mount Horai, located just a short distance away at Nakayama Pass, is a mountain. Thanks to the vehicle's altitude, you can enjoy a mountain-like hike right from the starting point. Because of the high altitude, there is still plenty of snow remaining even in early winter or during the remaining snow season. The recommended time to visit is before the cold of early winter sets in or early spring when the weather starts to warm up. Snowy mountains are cold... but you still want to climb a snowy mountain, so this tour is recommended for those who want to make their snowshoe debut. A professional guide will give you a lecture on the key points of winter mountain hiking. After descending the mountain, you can also stop off at Jozankei Onsen as an option!
