  • The KANSAI RAILWAY PASS LITE allows you to freely ride trains (excluding JR and Kyoto Municipal Subway; please check the map for eligible trains) to Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Mt. Hiei, Himeji, Wakayama, Nara, and Mt. Koya within the validity period. Save the time of checking complex fare tables and buying tickets every time you transfer. Enjoy discounts at major tourist facilities along the line.
  • For the actual coverage area, please refer to the official route map (Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, Korean).
    ※ The KANSAI RAILWAY PASS LITE cannot be used for buses.

  • Please be aware that this pass cannot be used for JR, Kyoto Municipal Subway, Keihan Otsu Line, Keifuku Electric Railroad (Randen), or buses.
  • Please note that each pass is for one person only.
  • Please note that a separate express ticket, special ticket, or reserved seat ticket must be purchased when riding limited express trains with reserved seats on Nankai Electric Railway, Kintetsu Railway, Semboku Rapid Railway, or Keihan Railway. 
  • Please note that an additional fee is required for the Limited Express Rapi:t. Transportation services do not operate 24 hours a day, except on special dates.

  • One day is defined as from 3:00 AM to 2:59 AM the following day; please be sure to click the 'Start Use' button after 3:00 AM on the day of your activity.

Reminders

  • Upon arriving at Kansai International Airport, you can use the Kansai Railway Pass to board the Nankai Electric Railway departing from Kansai Airport Station. Please note that an additional fee is required for the limited express Rapi:t train.

  • If transportation services are suspended after you have started using the pass, no refunds will be provided. Please be aware of this.

  • If you travel outside the valid area, you must pay the additional fare for the extra section. Please proactively inform the station staff.
