Xizhou Township is located in the southernmost part of Changhua County, Taiwan, bordering the Zhuoshui River to the south and facing Xiluo Township and Citong Township in Yunlin County across the river. To the east, it borders Ershui Township and Tianzhong Township, and to the north, it is adjacent to Beidou Township. To the west, it borders Pitou Township and Zhutang Township. The entire township covers an area of approximately 74 square kilometers and has a population of over 32,000 people.

Xizhou Park is densely planted with diverse flowers and trees, with beautiful blooms changing with the seasons. It also features scenic spots like a small bridge by the ecological pond, a hidden paradise of bald cypress trees, and landscape art. Strolling along the forest trails allows you to enjoy phytoncides, feed small fish and ducks, and even visit an old ox sanctuary, creating a rural and leisurely atmosphere perfect for family outings.

Xizhou Township has 15 villages: Jiumei Village, Xiqian Village, Zhennan Village, Lufeng Village, San Tiao Village, Rongguang Village, Zhongshan Village, Zhongyang Village, Chenggong Village, Xinsheng Village, Xingqi Village, Chaoyang Village, Dazhuang Village, Houxi Village, and Xizhou Village.

The Xizhou region boasts abundant agricultural produce, allowing you to savor locally grown sweet rice and vegetables. It is recommended to seek out local snack stalls or restaurants to experience authentic rural cuisine, such as rice noodle soup, gua bao, or seasonal fresh vegetables, all of which will bring surprising flavors to your Xizhou trip.

Xizhou is a relatively quiet rural area. It is recommended to plan your transportation in advance, such as renting a scooter or bicycle, for easy exploration of various attractions. Additionally, many attraction facilities may require checking their opening hours beforehand. Remember to protect yourself from the sun and stay hydrated to ensure a smoother solo journey.
